WIP: What’s Up with Nika (2023)

In 2023, I enrolled in the Documentary Lab program at the Un/Filmed School to deepen my passion for documentary film. At Un/Filmed, I wrote, directed, and shot my second documentary short, "What’s Up with Nika?" In this short, I investigated the intersection of Gen Z queer culture and Russian American culture in New York through the lens of my close friend Nika.  My work in documentary film has shaped me into a thoughtful independent filmmaker and producer proficient in all stages of the production process.

The short is very much a work in progress, but check it out here!
