Speak Up III, a juried exhibition presented by the New England Art Center, ran from November 1st to 30th, 2024 in Boston’s SOWA district.
This event, co-curated by Claudia Fiks and Raquel Fornasaro, invites artists to use their voices to shine a light on pressing social, political, and cultural issues of our time.
Now in its third year, Speak Up provides a platform to address urgent themes and engage audiences in impactful dialogue through powerful visual storytelling.

Copy: BTS vs. the EDITS // I’m incredibly honored to shoot the author photos for the book jacket of my badass & talented friend Nicky’s forthcoming first novel published by Random House 🖤 So proud of all she’s accomplished and know she will continue to achieve great things!
Set to be published this July, Nicky’s novel MAYRA is a literary Gothic novel following a young woman who’s lived her entire life just west of Miami in Hialeah, Florida. She is called to visit an overgrown secluded house in the Everglades by a dear friend with whom she has lost touch, exploring the slipperiness of memory and the feral intensity of early friendship. Go check it out when it drops on the 22nd!🩸
