I was tasked with creating an engaging and interesting graphic for Sunday at Five. Sunday at Five was brought to life with the idea of accompanying our Sunday evening Mass with a community meal to foster connection and fellowship.

I wanted to draw attention by using a warm and bright orange that envelops the viewer. This would play directly off a contrasting bright blue accent.

I decided to illustrate the graphic myself to add a handmade, imperfect, and comforting touch to the scene. To bring in the element of community, I drew a diverse group of parishioners gathering at the table, engrossed in the inviting atmosphere.

Since the launch of Sunday at Five, the graphic has helped draw in a crowd of around 100 parishioners for Sunday supper.
