Untamed Hearts

For several years I worked with Untamed Hearts, a small woman-owned jewelry business based in New York. I spearheaded several marketing campaigns showcasing new collections that resulted in significant traffic and revenue boosts.

I shot photo and video content that I later used for our website, social media platforms, and weekly email newsletter.  I was responsible for maintaining the brand’s content schedule, location scouting, campaign and market research, and managing shoot schedules.

I was also able to fine-tune my market research and analysis abilities, excelling in identifying new markets and tracking industry trends.

Here are my copywriting samples from one of our campaigns entitled City of Untamed Hearts, exploring New York through the eyes of the founder of the brand and connecting her inspiration back to her work.

Part 1: JR

  • The first stop in our journey through the City of Untamed Hearts is a mural by one of my favorite street artists, JR.

    For years I have been inspired by the work of JR. I am fascinated by how he teaches us to see the world up close and personal. His powerful storytelling gives you the opportunity to look into the soul of each person through their eyes.

    I thought The Chronicles of New York would be the perfect first stop on our journey because it shows the diversity of the city so beautifully.

    Looking across the sea of faces, you find people from different paths of life crossing and coming together to create art.

    This is my adopted city, just like the people in this mural.

    We all have our stories to tell, immigrating from various countries and moving from different cities.

    But we still call ourselves New Yorkers.

    I want to bring to you this incredible energy that comes from the ever-changing city and infuses itself in my work.

    Like the inhabitants of the City of Untamed Hearts, these pieces also have their own stories to tell.

    On this stop, we are featuring the Holding Hands Bracelet and the Unity Reversible Necklace. Both of these pieces are unity inspired. We want peace in the world. To achieve this we need unity.

    Holding Hands Bracelet

    Often times, especially in New York, we find ourselves surrounded by strangers and shutting each other out. But what if we took a moment in time to really look at people?
    What if we told the person next to us “I see YOU”?
    By holding hands, even with a stranger, we can erase differences, and embrace unity in a world where everybody wins.

    Unity Reversible Necklace

    This necklace is a visual representation of the different communities we come from.

    We are stronger when we embrace our different traditions, stories, foods, memories. We want peace in this world and the path starts with unity. No borders. No separation. We are all one. We are unity.

Part 2: Bushwick

  • The next stop on our City of Untamed Hearts journey is Bushwick, a vibrant and colorful neighborhood in North Brooklyn.

    Street Art is one of my biggest sources of inspiration, which is why I love exploring Bushwick: its walls are completely covered in graffiti, murals, stickers, posters, doodles, wire sculptures, and even fabric installations.

    It is a living gallery on the street whose collection is constantly rotating.

    The beauty of street art is that it exists in its own world, one that is completely opposite of the sterile conditions of a museum.

    At any moment, a beautifully intricate mural can be painted over by a building owner or knocked down entirely to make space for new condominiums.

    That is why the street art is so precious. It's one of a kind pieces exist in the ever changing environment and we never know how long these paintings will grace us with their presence.

    Street Art is teaching us that each moment is fleeting and to catch it must stay in the present. It's not only beautiful and inspiring, but it is also a philosophy: a way to tell stories, awaken

    consciousness, and to share relevant messages...

    Our pieces, featured today, take inspiration from one of the core elements of the street artist persona: Staying Untamed.

    Each piece is infused with energy and has a unique story to tell. There is always an intention behind everything we create and a message to share with the world... just like art on the streets of NYC.
